The reasons behind these Humanitarian and Environmental Aid projects can be found in the concern to offer research that provides answers and stimulates creative solutions, through design fused with the latest discoveries of the 21st century from different scientific fields, to SOLVE SOCIAL AND ECOSYSTEM PROBLEMS, through Sustainable Development to curb the constant erosion of biodiversity, and that this research helps to produce a paradigm shift in our dystopian society.
It is important to use the latest scientific innovations to solve the main global problems that cause current wars:
drinking water
food security
a circular bioeconomy
and the preservation of biodiversity
Art and technology can be united. The Bauhaus movement and its worldwide revolution in aesthetics and engineering demonstrated this viability under the motto: “Art and technology: a new unity.” It was shown that not only the machine, but everyday life, is linked to art.
Furthermore, we can stimulate essential individual changes, to bring about social changes, through ART, since it has the ability to move, reclaim and connect, to give visibility.
Therefore, art becomes a means of communication and a resource for establishing debates and improving intercultural dialogue. Having a critical understanding of our own culture fosters respect for cultural diversity.
Furthermore, art determines human behavior by improving the quality of life. By optimizing spaces, shapes, and colors, and by choosing the right materials, emotional well-being is enhanced. That is why research that offers designs in accordance with current society and its various problems is so important.

Scientific research has helped solve some of the mysteries that surround us. Every day, science generates new knowledge focused on solving the problems that plague different continents.
But science can be enhanced with design, achieving the two primary objectives: Humanitarian Aid and Environmental Aid.
Scientists have discovered a paint that absorbs CO2, photocatalytic paint; therefore, this paint can be applied in the art technique of mural painting to help improve the exterior health of buildings. Through this Sustainable Urban Art, cities, in addition to offering a unique pictorial work, will become more breathable, since by absorbing CO2, it improves air quality.
